High-Altitude Tours on the Glacier
. . . The basis for high-altitude tours, 3 days
This course is aimed at all those who want to be able to move safely on glacial ice and snow. A variety of safety techniques in the snow and ice, proper use of crampons, crevasse rescue, knot tying, and handling of a pickax are just a few of the points of this extensive training. The Plauener Hütte is located at the foot of three 3,000 m high mountains: the Kuchelmoos 3214m, Reihenspitze 3303m, and Wildgerlosspitze 3280m. The glacier starts near the hut, and you can easily practice the content of the glacier course.
