High-Altitude Tours on the Glacier
. . . The basis for high-altitude tours, 3 days
This course is aimed at all those who want to be able to move safely on glacial ice and snow. A variety of safety techniques in the snow and ice, proper use of crampons, crevasse rescue, knot tying, and handling of a pickax are just a few of the points of this extensive training. The Plauener Hütte is located at the foot of three 3,000 m high mountains: the Kuchelmoos 3214m, Reihenspitze 3303m, and Wildgerlosspitze 3280m. The glacier starts near the hut, and you can easily practice the content of the glacier course. Of course, there will also be time to implement what you learned on one of the nearby 3,000 m high mountains.
