Ski touring course & skiing technique
The beginner course with slope training for your ski technique
This basic ski touring course with training in skiing technique offers the ideal introduction to ski touring. You bring along enthusiasm for snowy mountains, safe skiing on the slopes and a little bit of stamina, then these are the best conditions for this course. We train you according to the Austrian ski curriculum and combine the training with the 3S method = safety - ski technique - setup.
Program 4 days
Day 1:
Meeting point at 8:30 am. at our alpine school, welcome and itinerary information from the mountain guide. Equipment check of setup, skis and boots. After we have familiarized ourselves with the equipment, we improve our riding technique for the terrain with helpful tips from your mountain guide. We get to know our avalanche transceiver and familiarize ourselves with the emergency equipment for avalanches.
Day 2:
Day tour adapted to the ability of the participants we learn ascent technique and track layout. We try to apply what we have learned off-piste and on a little skinning up. If possible, we make several small ascents and descents to refine our deep snow technique. Lecture Weather and Avalanche
Day 3:
Ski tour with variant downhill runs in easy and medium difficult terrain. Variation exercises for different types of snow. The course ends on Sunday at about 4:00.

All important information
Requirement:
Physical fitness for ascents up to 800 meters. You should be able to ski black slopes and do safe and confident parallel turns. Ski tour experience is not necessary
