Powder skiing course
. . . more fun for your freeride adventures
The Zillertal, with its variety of skiing opportunities away from the slopes in mid winter, and the Hintertuxer glacier, with its guaranteed snow conditions, are optimal areas for our deep-snow courses. The goal of the course is safe skiing in deep snow and alpine terrain. The lifts will take you quickly back to the top without expending excess energy. That will give us more opportunities to work on our technique exercises, quickly getting you close to your goal of enjoying some glorious deep-snow skiing.
We meet at 08:30 am at our Alpine school, where the mountain guide is waiting to welcome you and to go through the program. Together you will check the equipment: set up, skis and boots. Followed by ski technique training on the slopes and off piste.
Downhill runs with main focus on deep snow skiing - adapted to skills and conditions. A video analysis will help us refine and improve our ski technique.
Variant downhill runs in easy and moderate deep snow conditions. Various exercises for skiing different types of snow. The course ends approx. at 16:30 pm.
