Program

Meeting the Day Before
We meet at our mountaineering school at 5:00 pm for a briefing, tour planning and an equipment check.

Day 1: From Zillergrund to the Krimmler Tauernhaus

Starting at the Zillergründl Reservoir, we ascend either Kuchelmoosspitze or Zillerplattenspitze, depending on the conditions. We then descend via the northern Zillerscharte to the Krimmler Tauernhaus.
Ascent: approx. 1,400 vertical metres, Descent: approx. 1,230 vertical metres

Day 2: Through the Windbach Valley to Kasern

From the Krimmler Tauernhaus, our route leads through the impressive Windbach Valley and up to Dreiecker. We then enjoy a descent to Kasern in South Tyrol.
Ascent: approx. 1,280 vertical metres, Descent: approx. 1,300 vertical metres

Day 3: Via Hundskehljoch Back to the Zillertal

From Kasern, we climb to Hundskehljoch before tackling Rauchkofel. Our final descent takes us to Bärenbad in the Zillertal, where our three-day ski traverse comes to an end.
Ascent: approx. 1,630 vertical metres, Descent: approx. 1,800 vertical metres

Please note: The route and summit objectives may be adjusted depending on snow, weather and avalanche conditions. All elevation figures are approximate.
