Snowshoeing and the proper use of emergency equipment
On our guided snowshoe hike with avalanche training, we combine a beautiful hike with basic knowledge of avalanche emergency equipment. We hike through a sparse high forest up to the Höllensteinhütte on Loschboden, the paradisiacal high plateau above the Tux Valley at 1,740 m above sea level. After refreshment in the hut, we get to know the theory and practice of the avalanche emergency equipment we brought with us. In the afternoon we hike back on snowshoes or go on a fun toboggan ride down into the valley.
