Zimmereben
Steep and overhanging Via Ferrate
The Zimmereben Fixed-Cable Route is also located close to Mayrhofen. It is quite impressive, especially because climbers are tested at the very outset by an overhang, one which has managed to scare off many a climber in the past. Often climbed in combination with the Hutelaner rout

FAQs
What exactly is a via ferrata?
A via ferrata is a climbing route that employs steel cables, rungs or ladders, fixed to the rock to which the climbers affix a harness, which allows the climbers to secure themselves to the metal fixture and limit any fall. The cable and other fixtures, such as iron rungs (stemples), pegs, carved steps, and ladders and bridges, provide both footings and handholds.
Do you have to be able to climb?
No. A healthy physical condition and good surefootedness are sufficient.
Minimum number of participants
We run our tours with a minimum of 4 participants. (Exceptions see tour description) If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will arrange a new date with you.

Our events are only suitable for people with limited mobility to a limited extent or - depending on the degree of personal restriction – perhaps not at all. Please contact us for individual information if necessary.
